SYCODE Launches Eight Data Exchange Plug-ins for Adobe Acrobat

Panaji - 19th Jan, 2009 - SYCODE today launched eight CAD file import and export plug-ins for Adobe Acrobat.

"Although Adobe Acrobat has the ability to read a good number of CAD file formats, it lacks support for a few popular formats such as Rhinoceros 3DM", explains Deelip Menezes, Founder and CEO of SYCODE. "Moreover, Acrobat’s file export capabilities are not as extensive as its import capabilities. Noticeably, it cannot save data from a 3D PDF file to the world most popular CAD format – DWG. The Acrobat plug-ins we are releasing today go a long way in eliminating these limitations and make Adobe Acrobat fit into a company’s workflow in a more efficient manner"

The plug-ins being released today consist of two import plug-ins and six export plug-ins. The import plug-ins for Acrobat are:

3DM Import for Acrobat Rhinoceros 3DM file import plug-in for Acrobat
VTK Import for Acrobat Visualization Toolkit VTK file import plug-in for Acrobat

The export plug-ins for Acrobat are:

3DM Export for Acrobat Rhinoceros 3DM file export plug-in for Acrobat
3DS Export for Acrobat 3D Studio 3DS file export plug-in for Acrobat
DWG Export for Acrobat AutoCAD DWG file export plug-in for Acrobat
DXF Export for Acrobat AutoCAD DXF file export plug-in for Acrobat
OBJ Export for Acrobat Wavefront OBJ file export plug-in for Acrobat
VTK Export for Acrobat Visualization Toolkit VTK file export plug-in for Acrobat

Taking into account the previously released SketchUp SKP file import and export plug-ins, SYCODE now offers a total of ten data exchange plug-ins of Acrobat.

All the plug-ins are priced at $195 each and are available as fully functional 10 day/run trials. Each product comes with an installer and detailed documentation in the form of a compiled HTML help file which contains a step-by-step tutorial to get the end user started in the shortest possible time.
