The ODA is a non-profit organization that obtains revenue from membership fees.  The increase in revenue is due to a steady base of existing members as well as the addition of new members.  A large part of the membership fees is used to develop the ODA Platform which is used for the development of CAD and other technical graphics applications.

“The ODA has matured into a well managed organization that now has a very active board, professional management, and an agile engineering process with emphasis being placed on quality and open communication,” commented Gary Heath, CEO of Informative Graphics (IGC), a Founding Member of the ODA.

Arnold van der Weide, ODA President, added, “The increase in revenue during this economic downturn is evidence of the ODA’s strength and its commitment to its member’s success.  We expect a similar result for the remainder of this year.”

More information about the ODA is available at www.opendesign.com.
