Phoenix, AZ, May 4, 2010 – The Open Design Alliance (ODA) today announced the release of version 3.3 of its Teigha software development platform. In addition to the new Teigha (pronounced tee-ga) brand names throughout the software development platform, this latest release includes performance enhancements, interface changes designed to provide greater flexibility for application developers, maintenance fixes, and a new module which provides rendering support for PDF files referenced from .dwg files.
The Teigha brand name is applied throughout the platform:
ODA President Arnold van der Weide stated, “Releasing the ODA platform with the new brand names brings together the many facets of what the ODA develops and delivers to its members. ODA members use one, two, or many components of the entire Teigha development platform, including third-party integrations, to build their own solutions. With the new Teigha brand name, we will continue to expand and deliver high performing CAD and technical graphics technology to our members.” About the Open Design AllianceThe Open Design Alliance is a non-profit consortium of over 2,000 software developers and users committed to promoting open, industry-standard formats for the exchange of CAD data and CAD legacy data.
