Sales momentum attributed to Newforma Project Center Fourth Edition release and new Express Value Program for licensing and firm-wide adoption

Manchester, N.H.—November 6, 2007—Newforma, Inc., a software company addressing the project information management needs of the design and building industry, announced today the third quarter addition of 40 new customers for its Newforma Project Center solution, including industry-leading architectural and engineering firms such as Anderson, Eckstein and Westrick; CO Architects; EDSA; FreemanWhite; Hurt & Proffitt; Jaros Baum & Bolles; Jones & Jones Architects and Landscape Architects; and Scheurer Architects.

Over half of the customers added in Q3 chose to license Newforma’s solution firm-wide from the outset. In July, Newforma introduced the Express Value Program, a licensing and adoption program which makes it easier and more affordable for firms to capture immediate time savings and productivity returns from their Newforma investment.  The Express Value Program empowers everyone in a firm to manage project email efficiently, search for any item of project information across the company network, view any email attachments or search results, and mark up anything that appears on the screen – after just one hour of training.  It also includes an extended free trial period for the more advanced areas of Newforma Project Center functionality, like transmittals, submittals, document compare and issue management – functionality that provides significant additional value as it is also adopted within the firm over time.

Scott Frank, Partner at Jaros Baum & Bolles, a 250 person consulting engineering firm in New York City, remarked, “We evaluated Newforma Project Center and could envision the very positive impact the entire solution would have on our business over time. Nevertheless, we had to be realistic about how quickly our teams could learn and fully utilize everything the solution had to offer.  The Express Value Program helps us match our investment to our ability to derive value over time and encourages investigation of the solution’s advanced capabilities without upfront commitment.  We’ve never before worked with a software company willing to offer such a helpful and innovative licensing and adoption model.”

Newforma Chief Executive Officer Ian Howell said, “We continue to successfully build our business by listening carefully to our customers.  The new Express Value Program, coupled with the enhancements and new functionality in Fourth Edition, are responses to what we have heard from our marketplace.  The result is a solution that continues to solve real pain points and now has become even easier to license and adopt.  We look forward to making all of our new customers successful in adopting our solution.”
