Having announced the beta of ARES for Mac at Macworld 2010 in February, Graebert chose to launch 1.0 on the week that for many years marked the start of MacWorld Expo Boston. This was done to commemorate the proud history of the Mac and its passionate user base - many of whom have been on the platform for decades and have long sought a powerful and affordable 3D CAD solution capable of supporting both AEC (Architecture/Engineering/Construction) and MCAD (Mechanical CAD) use cases.
