DesignWorks Express is a new schematic capture software package that can be used and distributed completely free! Because it is based on DesignWorks Professional 5, it inherits a new level of customization ability that allows it to be used in a wide variety of diagramming applications.

With DesignWorks Express you can draw, save, edit and print complete, professional circuit diagrams using powerful features like bussing, multi-level Undo/Redo, and automatic gate packaging. DesignWorks Express also links to PCB design software like Pad2Pad for a completely free end-to-end design solution. Use the library of common 74XX and discrete symbols provided or create your own libraries using the built-in symbol editor. Because DesignWorks Express can also open any file created by DesignWorks Professional, you can use it as a free viewer that can be distributed to your users and colleagues at no charge. DesignWorks Express is limited to editing diagrams up to 500 device pins but can open files of unlimited number of pages and hierachy blocks created by the Professional version.
