Subject matter

The subject of the news announcement should be relevant to the interests and concerns of design professionals using computer-aided technology and processes in design, documentation, presentation, manufacturing, production and related fields.

Content must be relevant to the readership, and this relevance should be made clear within the first paragraph if not the headline.

Content must be newsworthy. News announcement that are clearly advertising messages will not be published. Excellent advertising opportunties are available if this is your goal. Contact the advertising department.

Images:  Optional. Maximum of two. JPG, GIF or PNG. Published max size 400x480 pixels @96dpi. Provide brief captions for each image (published as alt text). Included in text at editors discretion. Subscription submission can place images where they like.

Submission Agreement

Applicants understand and agree that:

1. Digital Business Media Pty Ltd, the publisher of CADCAM-insider.com reserves complete editorial discretion over all submissions and submissions may be edited or rejected entirely without consultation, notice or compensation.
2. The submitter guarantee that he/she is authorised to supply the news material comprising text, images and anything else supplied and grant license to publish.
3. Author copyright is retained by the submitter over the original submission and perpetual license to publish as news is granted to Digital Business Media Pty Ltd. Copyright in the edited and published format is held by Digtal Business Media Pty Ltd and may not be repoduced in any form at any time without written authorisation.
4. Regardless of submission date or mode, no submissions will become public until approved by the publisher. This is typically complete within 48 hours.
5. Images may be included with free or subscription submissions. A preferred maximum of 2 images per submission is preferred. Publication of free submission images is not guaranteed. Images sized to publication specs have a better chnace of inclusion. Excess images may be deleted during the approval stage.
6. Advertising matter may be displayed within the body of free submission content. Such advertising may take any form but is typically a single medium rectangle banner (max 350x280px) per page. Such additional commercial content is clearly marked as advertising. This content is additional to the basic top, margin and footer advertising positions displayed on the CADCAM-insider.com website.
7. Submission subscriptions are defined by number of submissions and time period. Subscriptions expire when either limit is reached first.
8. From time to time submission and management services may be added and revised in accordance with our policy of continual enhancement and development.
